Autofill startup directory forms with a Chrome extension

The slow part of a directory submission is not deciding what to say. It is moving what you already said into someone else's form: pasting the tagline, finding the logo file, uploading the screenshots, picking a category from a dropdown that calls it something slightly different. The Launch to Win Chrome extension does that part. Open the directory's submit page, pick your package in the sidebar, click once.

What it fills

• Text fields — name, URL, tagline, descriptions, maker name, email, social links, each mapped to the right package field and trimmed to the site's limit.
• Dropdowns and checkboxes — category, pricing model, platforms, where the form uses standard controls.
• File uploads — the logo and screenshots from your package, attached straight to the form's file inputs.
• Multi-step forms — it follows the form across steps and fills each one.

After filling, the sidebar lists what it could not do: fields over the site's character limit, required fields that are empty in your package, and anything it could not find on the page. You fix those, review the rest and press submit yourself.

How it knows where things go

Each directory in our list has a field map: which form field takes which package field, with the character limit where the site has one. Popular sites have hand-verified maps. Everything else starts from a default map that covers the fields nearly every form uses.

When you open a form the extension has never seen, or the default map misses, it sends the page's form structure to be mapped by AI, applies the result, and remembers it. The next person who lands on that form gets the mapping instantly. The set of mapped directories grows with use.

Installing it

The extension is not on the Chrome Web Store yet, so it installs in developer mode. It takes about a minute:

1. Download the extension and unzip it.
2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome, Edge, Brave or Arc.
3. Turn on Developer mode.
4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
5. Pin the Launch to Win icon. Clicking it opens the sidebar, which stays open while you move between sites.

In the sidebar's settings, enter your API token from the extension page and the slug of the package you want to submit. Both are remembered.

Using it on a submission

1. Sign in to the directory yourself. The extension never handles your directory logins.
2. Open the submit page. Our directory pages deep-link straight to it.
3. In the sidebar, choose the package. Click Autofill this page.
4. Read the sidebar's flags. Fix anything it could not fill.
5. Review the form. Submit. Mark it done in your Launch to Win dashboard.

On a site the extension cannot fill, or any site that is not a directory, the sidebar still shows every package field with a copy button, so nothing is ever more than one click away.

Several products

Switch the package in the sidebar and click autofill again. Going through three products on one directory takes a few minutes, and you never leave the page. If you would rather not click at all, an in-browser AI agent can drive the same data through WebMCP.

What it sends and where

The extension reads your package from Launch to Win using your token and writes it into the form in your browser. When a form needs AI mapping, the form's structure — field names and labels, not your data — is sent for mapping and the mapping is shared with other users. It does not track your browsing and has no analytics. Details in the privacy policy.
