- Only where the audience matches your product and the fee is small relative to what one customer is worth. A $30 listing on a directory your buyers actually browse is cheap; a $300 listing on a generic launch site usually is not.
- Do paid directories give better backlinks?
- Sometimes they offer a do-follow link where free tiers are no-follow. For SEO that can matter, but prioritise directories with real traffic over link attributes.
